Social Websites...

hi bloggers!

i know "most" us these days...are fond of internet sites, not only this site(blogger)

All of us...can't deny the fact that we won't have this kind of life or generation if there we didn't have the internet....

so i wanted to share to you some of the sites i've been part of and what are they all about...

FRiendSter....
>>>>this is the first ever social site i've joined in...and i think i was in grade 5 or 6 that time(so obviously, i was not that updated with technology:P that time). Of course, a social site wouldn't be a social site if you can't connect with other people. fs allows you to post 6 featured friends that can be seen on your profile but that doesn't mean you could only have 6 friends there. In fs, you could also place pictures of yourself or your friends..and etc. you could sort them by album too! There are also places you could place info about yourself and at the side your groups and the fan groups you've joined. People can also give you comments, most of this are pictures and just plain words....
well, that's about it.... i can't remember it that much because i don't use it anymore...but i still have mine

Multiply...

>>>>it also has the same objectives of fs but the have a different approach. I think multiply is more appealing because of their profile layout... Another thing is..when your adding a friend, you could indicate there if that person is your relative or friend, classmate and others. Multiply also has this header for your profile like friendster...but for those who don't know how to place a header in fs, they have to deal with their name...unlike in multiply you could change this in settings part together with the other titles in the division of your profile.

Twitter

>>>> this site is all about statuses....you post or TWIT what you're doing or what you're doing....and some may reply to you...you could also reply on others...or give direct messages too... people could also follow you here...this means they can see your stat updates at their homepage


Plurk

>>> this site is somewhat the same with twitter but you can post other things not just your status or what your feeling that time but you could put pictures, videos and links too!.. The posts you've made and your friends post, too, can be seen on your profile when you logged in...it's like a bulletin...where you just slide the timeline to see the other posts/updates of your friends or your fans.... You could also chat, comment or react on a person's post. :) and see the other comments as well. The emoticons provided by plurk are uber COOL! that makes your posts even more fun and obviously not boring. Now, there's also the thing they call KARMA...in plurk, the higher the karma you have THE BETTER! there are around 6 times (a day )that your karma could possibly increase. And how do you increase your karma? by posting, commenting on other friends posts and the other way around, changing your personal info and changing your layout/background/ template or watever you call that thing... :D

>>>this is(just my opinion) the most popular among the other sites these days...well, if i would be asked to describe fb, i'll say it's a combination of different social sites!
you can search your friends! post statuses! entertain yourself with the different applications and a lot more... maybe you should just find out yourself what are the other things you could do here at fb...:)

Curiosity...

Earlier(dismissal time)...I went directly to our school bus..so i would be able to occupy the front sit...and luckily i did get it....

i was very early today... early as in, i was the first student to get to our bus...

in our bus...it was quiet...it felt like you temporarily escaped from the stresses of the world...it was sort of odd but in a good way...

While enjoying the silence that time...i was observing the students outside...

moving from one place to another... eating something, chatting, going to their own buses, some little kids running or like some, who were mostly hs students, were just walking with a friend.

It made me wonder "why was i here, sitting in my bus all alone and observing the little things done by others while they were out there doing something with their friends or just acquaintances perhaps..." That thought had a different impact on me so i decided to continue reading the pocket book a renewed at the library a few mins before going to my bus...

After a few mins, my busmates were arriving...and that means i need to wear my earphones to escape from the noise and be relaxed by the sounds that i prefer...

We wainted around five more minutes, i suppose, before our bus driver said to me that we were living...

passing by the same service bay...almost everyday....i've noticed that it seems all the same to me... an ordinary boring dismissal...or maybe i was looking for something and failed to see it that's why i said that or maybe i'm still sad about what happen in class...

i've also noticed some familiar faces....(of course! all of them are familiar! i see them almost everyday! i may not know them but i've seen them alright...) *sigh* it seems all the same and it may actually....really be...just the same....

but now...it makes me think....

"how could i get up very early...EVERY MORNING....putting on the same pairs of uniforms...riding on the same yellow(or more like orange) school bus...walking on the long slightly steep sidewalk....get the key, stay at our designated area for waiting...enter the same yellowed-wall classroom, seeing the whiteboard that doesn't have the same color, obviously, same lockers, classmates, teachers, lecturing, reporting, and taking down notes...and goes on....up to the time we sleep...??? how could i not get sick of it? all those stress! how??"

questions that we may all think are simple to answer but sometimes we can't help having second thoughts on them... am i right?

but...maybe, just maybe....we were made to endure all those?...

maybe there really are reasons...purposes...behind those things that are happening to us? and we just need to find them out so we can appreciate them?

hmmm..... ^-^

the oh so great long weekend...IS REALLY OVER...bad day today...

let's start with saturday...





a fine great morning for a regular saturday....


i wake up around 6:00am to do my unfinished hw for the math training which was supposed to be done last last week...:P after fixing myself...i came to school few mins before the time...and

somebody commented?....or maybe he just noticed... my new haircut....

basta...watever! :P hahah....then the math training itself was VERY EASY...because we already studied it last quarter so repeating it was kind of boring....but still nice because i really did bad last week...heheh...





then after the math training....:"> for those who know...that's it...for those who do not know....well..i'm sorry for you...hahha..'cause you wouldn' get it no matter how many times you read this part..haha..:P



SUNDAY....

thise days was just movie day...i think it was like a movie marathon where we watched harry potter >>which is the advance birthday gift of my dad to me :)

That day, i only accomplish my math quiz and half of my theo homework!!! when i was supposed to finished half of my tle proj....:((

Monday...

Cramming day!!! i did most of my homeworks at night so i slept around 12md??? which is not new to me....(because since the start of my second year...i've sleeping that time..almost always....)

BUT!!! my mom bought me the harry potter 7 and the new book of alyson noel!! blue moon!!!

That's why i am so happy! yipie! haha... i just need to finish Prep...the book i borrowed from the lrc then i could start reading hp7! exciting! :))

today...

heavy bag and add two ubd books....going inside of the room WITHOUT aircondition...NO DOUBLE PERIODS FOR THE DAY...ALOT of reportings to do...AND AN UNFINISHED REPORT(for a certain subject).....

other than that.... i have 4 reasons why this day is so bad...

1. I was so sleepy... i only slept 5 hours that night....(not that i blame anybody...but it just shows that i'm so tired)

2. my classmates(or maybe some) are so insensitive...can't they see that the person is already stressed??? why add more problems to that??

3. I wasn't able to eat lunch....so i was tired and sleepy....AND HUNGRY!!!

4. a teacher got dissapointed with our report....very...and i have to admit...it was a disaster... well, at least we were given another chance... =) thank God! :))

now...around a few mins before 9pm, i'm still doing some of my homeworks...and i still want to blog...maybe i'll post something later...or maybe not....

hi bloggers!

I'm jocel. I am just new here at blogger, obviously and i made a blog particularly for our tle subject... I am not really a blog person but i've blog before in my multiply site...so i'm not actually a newbie here.

What I like about blogging(even if i'm not that much into it...) is that here you could express yourself more...you have the freedom to share what you feel, think and etc...
Well in my case, I'm a very vocal person but I have a hard time expressing my feelings(at times:P) to others so I normally tweet it (but it's a bit irritating because twitter has a limit when your twitting so you need to shorten it MOST OF THE TIME...which means other details of what your feeling or thinking are omitted)

hmm, what else could i say??

oh, yeah, I'm just a sophomore and we're in the middle of our academic year here in the Philippines..:) I'm still 13 but in a fews weeks time I'm going to be 14!!! :)) >so don't forget my presents! lol! heheh...<
errr, I actualy like or love to surf around the net when i have free time, listen to the music at most of the times...read pocket that are fictional or rather realistic or something that you could relate with(for me ,a teenager life with a lil' romance would be very nice)...and I also like to study....:P (of course we have to balance everything, right?)

well, it think that would be all for now... :)
